TGC Search is partnered with one of our top clients in Milwaukee, WI looking to add their next Manufacturing Process Engineer to the team in a direct hire/full-time position.
Your role as a key player in the organization will involve refining and enhancing our industrial processes utilizing cutting-edge lean manufacturing methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead initiatives to enhance cost-effectiveness through the application of Lean Manufacturing principles, including Six Sigma methodology, Kaizen, and other process enhancement strategies.
- Conduct a thorough analysis of existing workflows to pinpoint areas for improvement, devising and executing solutions to optimize our manufacturing operations.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety and quality standards, providing insightful reports and proposing actionable solutions as needed.
- Develop comprehensive process documentation and operating instructions, leveraging simulations, risk assessments, and testing to streamline operations and overcome obstacles.
- Collaborate on estimating production costs and contribute to equipment layout design and planning.
- Tackle manufacturing process challenges head-on through adept troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Desired Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience as a Manufacturing Process Engineer.
- Experience with metals or casting preferred.
- Interest in leading continuous improvement projects and driving change.
- Experience in conducting process simulations, testing and crafting standard operating procedures.
