Are you a skilled Journeyman Machine Repair Mechanic looking for a new opportunity? Look no further! Our partner, a family-owned engineering company with a nearly 100-year long history, is seeking a talented individual to join their team.
As a Journeyman Machine Repair Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing diverse, complex machinery, from CNC mills and lathes to punch presses and broaching machines. You will perform advanced mechanical breakdown and preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the efficient operation of our machinery.
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you should meet these qualifications:
- Hold a State Indentured Journeyman Machine Repair Person certification OR have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in machine repair within a machine shop environment.
- You should be proficient in setting up and operating various equipment, including tool room equipment for part fabrication.
- Additionally, you should have a physical ability to perform manual labor for extended periods, including lifting objects weighing up to 50 lbs independently.
This is a 1st shift opportunity with working hours from 5 AM to 3 PM, Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday shifts from 5 AM to 10 AM.
