Jose Medina joined TemPositions in the Fall of 2007 as a Site Manager for School Professionals’ SES after-school tutoring division. There he managed several tutoring programs in NYC public schools. In 2008, Jose was promoted to Director of Field Operations of the SES division where he was charged with the overseeing all field operations for School Professionals’ city-wide after-school tutoring programs. This included marketing and sales to prospective clients, program development, logistical planning for day-to-day operations at each facility, assisting in curriculum development and implementation, the hiring and training of on-site staff and teachers, creating and managing the staff’s weekly work schedule as well as, managing weekly billing and reporting to the NYC Department of Education. In 5 years with School Professionals, Jose helped to grow the program from 4 schools and 400 students in Manhattan and the Bronx, to 14 schools and over 2000 students city-wide. In 2013, Jose was promoted to Client Services Supervisor for School Professionals’ Educational Staffing division. He now manages accounts for over 125 private, independent and charter schools in the New York City area. Jose received a BA in Childhood Education from the Buffalo State College in 2006.
