Direct Support Professional

Responsibilities:

  • Provide hands-on support to individuals with developmental, intellectual, or physical disabilities
  • Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, meal preparation, and medication reminders
  • Support community involvement by accompanying individuals to appointments, events, or activities
  • Foster independence by teaching life skills and encouraging personal growth
  • Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment
  • Document services provided and report changes in behavior or health to supervisors
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and clinical teams to support individualized care plans

Skills & Experience:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • At least 6 months experience in the field working with individuals with developmental disabilities, certified as an HHA, CNA or NA we also accept SCIP and AMAP certificates.
