Cloud Services Specialist
We’re partnering with a client to hire Cloud Services Specialists who can evaluate business needs and implement the right cloud technologies. It’s a great fit for someone who enjoys optimizing systems and bringing smart, scalable solutions to life.
Responsibilities:
- Perform analysis, configuration and security monitoring for Tomcat Web Server and Azure Cloud Services.
- Generate and deploy SSL certificates for client connections to Tomcat and Azure service.
- Assist development team to create secure connection between subsystems of the Beacon project.
- Configure, analyze and monitor firewall and other security indicators for firewalls in Azure cloud services.
- Assist development team on Java or .NET and other script languages for automation of administration processes and interface development.
- Document flows for deployment and maintenance of production system.
- Coordinate and facilitate meetings such as business process reviews, requirements, and various status reports
Skills & Experience:
- Bachelors in Computer Science
- Excellent oral, written, presentation, and communication skills
- Strong programming skills in Java and scripting languages
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 2013 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Project version 2010 or higher
- Excellent inter-personal skills including the ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organization
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to independently set priorities and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment; a self-starter
- Working experience with Tomcat admin and security performance.
- Development experience on Java and Java script or .NET, Web and TCP socket, and encryption technique.
- Strong Window Cloud Administration and Tomcat Web Service skills
- Setup the security vulnerabilities and monitoring tools for tomcat web service on azure servers. Ensure performance and tuning of the web services.
- Azure server security audit and monitoring and reporting. Provide recommendation to enhance the security and performance.
