Location: Miami Springs, FL
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–3:30 PM

A well-established private, faith-based elementary school in the Miami Springs area is seeking a passionate, nurturing, and dedicated Third Grade Teacher for the upcoming school year.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, standards-based lessons for third-grade students.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment that promotes respect and student growth.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs of students.
  • Assess student learning through formative and summative assessments and use data to inform instruction.
  • Establish effective classroom management routines and maintain high expectations for student behavior.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities.
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers, specialists, and school leadership to support student success.
  • Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, school events, and parent conferences.
  • Integrate educational technology and innovative instructional strategies into daily instruction.
  • Foster critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Maintain accurate attendance, grading, and student records.
  • Support the school's faith-based mission and values.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.

Preferred

  • Previous elementary classroom teaching experience.
  • Experience using educational technology and digital learning tools.
  • Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Commitment to fostering a faith-based, student-centered learning environment.

Schedule

  • Monday–Friday
  • 8:00 AM–3:30 PM
