Vice President Business Development
Location: United States - Western Region 

This position is 100% remote, except when traveling.
Candidates must be based in one of the following states: California, Arizona, Washington, Oregon, or Colorado, and be able to travel 35% of the time

About the Role:

As a senior member of the business development team, you will play a critical role in expanding our presence in the U.S. market for this fintech company. This is more than a sales role - it’s a chance to bring your expertise to a supportive environment where your ideas are valued and your contributions are recognized. You’ll have the opportunity to pursue new business, build lasting partnerships, and work in a company using AI/ML to help shape the future of credit underwriting.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and deliver revenue targets in line with growth plans.
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and lead generation.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer needs, industry trends, and the competitive landscape.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and negotiations to senior decision-makers.
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences to strengthen visibility and generate leads.
  • Work closely with marketing to align strategies and ensure effective lead conversion.

Skills & Competencies:

  • 3–5+ years of experience selling lending or analytical products to credit unions or other financial institutions.
  • Proven hunter mentality - comfortable opening doors, overcoming objections, and closing deals.
  • Stable career history with the grit to thrive in a long-cycle, relationship-driven sales environment.
  • Strong knowledge of credit decisioning, financial services, or related technology.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Willingness to travel ~35%.

Pay:$130,000.00 - $150,000.00
