Job Overview
We are seeking Physical Therapists (PTs) to provide services within charter schools throughout Brooklyn, the Bronx, and Manhattan. Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available.
Schools are clustered geographically, allowing therapists to work within the same neighborhood and minimize travel time.
This is a great opportunity for therapists who enjoy working with children in an educational setting while maintaining a flexible schedule and consistent caseload.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services to students in a school-based setting
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs
- Maintain documentation and progress notes in compliance with school requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and multidisciplinary teams
- Support students in improving mobility, strength, coordination, and functional abilities
Position Details
- Pay: $55–$65 per hour depending on experience
- Schedule: Full-time or part-time available
- Setting: Charter schools
- Locations: Brooklyn, Bronx, and Manhattan
- Schools grouped by location to support efficient scheduling
Qualifications
- Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in New York State
- Experience working with pediatric or school populations preferred
