Program Director, Residential Services 

This is a senior leadership role responsible for the overall administration, clinical oversight, regulatory compliance, and financial management of an OASAS Part 820 Residential Substance Use Disorder Treatment Program. The Program Director ensures the program operates in full compliance with New York State OASAS regulations, grant requirements, and audit standards while maintaining high-quality, evidence-based treatment services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of residential substance use treatment programs. 
  • Ensure compliance with OASAS Part 820 regulations, audits, inspections, and grant requirements. 
  • Provide clinical oversight and ensure quality, timely, and compliant documentation. 
  • Supervise program leadership, clinical supervisors, and multidisciplinary staff. 
  • Manage program budgets, grant funding, fiscal reporting, and reimbursement processes. 
  • Lead quality assurance, performance improvement initiatives, and outcome monitoring. 
  • Serve as the primary liaison with OASAS, funders, oversight agencies, and community partners. 
  • Support strategic planning, program sustainability, and service expansion. 

Required Qualifications:

  • Current NYS Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). 
  • Current CASAC credential. 
  • Minimum 5 years of experience directing an OASAS Part 820 residential program. 
  • Minimum 10 years of staff management and leadership experience. 
  • Strong expertise in budget management, grant compliance, audits, and regulatory reporting. 
  • Knowledge of substance use treatment, OASAS regulations, and residential program operations.

Ideal Candidate:

A highly experienced behavioral health leader with extensive substance use treatment experience, strong regulatory and fiscal management skills, proven success managing residential programs, and the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams while ensuring compliance, quality care, and program growth.

Pay:$90,000.00 - $105,000.00
