Description
We are working with a freight forwarding logistics company near JFK Airport who is looking to hire an Export CSR on a temp to hire basis. This position will require some work in the warehouse along with office work.
Hours are Monday-Friday 6a-2p fully on site
Export Position
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Data entry of up to 100 files per day
- Enter shipment information into the system
- Update shipment statuses, including shortages and damages
- Communicate shipment updates via email
- Label and examine freight
- Gather and organize shipping paperwork
- Prepare airline pouches
- Coordinate with company drivers regarding shipments and deliveries
- Communicate directly with customers regarding shipment activity
- Support general export department operations in a fast-paced environment
