Pay: $22.50 - $23.50 per hour
Job description:
We are working with an educational consulting company that provides support services to students in schools in Nassau and Suffolk County. Our client is looking for an educational assistant to join their team-this position will start off as a temporary position with the possibility of leading to a permanent position.
Tasks:
- The position overall is responsible for essentially managing relationships with Teachers in schools on Long Island
- Responsible for placing our network of teachers with student cases in schools
- Read student school documents, understand what the student’s need is, find a qualified person from our company to take the case
- Participate in teacher-hiring interviews
- Manage and enter complex data with strong attention to detail
- Ability to truly multitask and learn new computer software quickly
Requirements:
- A degree is not really required but one related to education or any experience within the K-12 education space would be amazing but not required.
- Experience with: Customer service would be needed and/or relationship management
- Could do a recent grad or more seasoned
- The person should be a people person and accustomed to working in a fast paced, vibrant environment
