Overview: 

We’re seeking a highly connected, results-driven Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead the search for a key SVP of Production as well as two Line Producers (one at VP level) for a high-profile live television and event production company. This is a high-impact, contract role supporting internal recruitment needs during a major leadership transition. 

The ideal recruiter will have experience placing senior-level production talent in live television, ideally with exposure to award shows, televised events, or large-format productions, and strong ties to the Los Angeles talent market. 

ShapeKey Responsibilities: 

Act as the internal lead recruiter for three key hires: 

SVP of Production – a seasoned live TV executive with strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills to align with heads of Talent, Sales, and Events. 

Line Producers (2 roles) – including one VP-level candidate. 

Develop targeted outreach strategies and source passive talent using LinkedIn Recruiter and your network. 

Screen and evaluate candidates with a focus on live broadcast production, leadership style, and collaboration capability. 

Maintain candidate pipeline using Greenhouse ATS. 

Collaborate closely with the Head of Talent and broader leadership team to align on search strategy and candidate profiles. 

Provide weekly reports, shortlists, and market insights. 

ShapeRequirements: 

5+ years of recruitment experience, with a focus on entertainment, live TV, or production roles. 

Deep understanding of live television production workflows and team structures. 

Strong network in Los Angeles; open to candidates based in New York with proven success in this vertical. 

Previous experience filling senior-level production or creative roles (SVP, EP, Line Producer, etc.). 

Familiarity with Greenhouse or similar applicant tracking systems. 

Highly resourceful, discreet, and able to operate without public postings.

Work Environment: 

Hybrid schedule: Onsite Monday–Thursday, remote Fridays.
