Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Greenville-Spartanburg-Anderson, SC (On-site)
TGC Executive Search is conducting a confidential search on behalf of our client for a strategic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This is a local, on-site role based in Spartanburg, SC, ideal for a finance leader with deep expertise in the staffing, payroll services, or professional services industries.
What You’ll Do
- Lead financial strategy, planning, and analysis to support growth and profitability.
- Oversee accounting, treasury, tax, and compliance functions.
- Deliver timely and accurate financial reporting aligned with GAAP.
- Partner with executive leadership to guide strategic decisions.
- Manage external relationships with banks, auditors, and advisors.
- Support M&A activities and integration efforts.
- Build and mentor a high-performing finance team.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience.
- Prior CFO or senior executive finance experience in staffing or professional services is required.
- Strong operational and strategic finance skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Must be based in Greenville-Spartanburg-Anderson, SC area or willing to relocate.
