Hybrid Tax Manager for a Public Accounting firm. Offers work/life balance and quality clients. Will consider supervisors moving up to manager role.
Our client is seeking multiple Tax Managers due to growth. Offering strong benefits, quality clients and work/life balance, this role is Hybrid in NYC.
Functions will include:
- Client Service & Advisory: Deliver tax compliance and advisory services to individuals, partnerships, and corporations, tailored to client goals.
- Project Management: Oversee all phases of engagements, managing budgets, project workflows, and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery.
- Team Development: Mentor and coach tax associates and seniors, reviewing their work and providing performance feedback.
- Business Development: Identify new client opportunities, support proposal development, and foster existing client relationships.
- Technical Expertise: Research complex tax issues, maintain CPE requirements, and contribute to internal thought leadership and training.
Requirements include:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Taxation, or related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting.
- License: CPA license is required.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, strong communication skills, and ability to use technology for tax research and compliance.
