Description

We are working with a not-for-profit organization in Brooklyn seeking a Residential Aide on a temporary basis. The Residential Aide helps maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment for residents and assists with the day-to-day operations of the facility.

Hours: Saturday - Sunday, various shifts

Responsibilities

  • Greet residents, visitors, and staff and direct them as needed.
  • Monitor the facility and help maintain a safe environment.
  • Maintain logs and complete basic documentation as required.
  • Help keep resident areas and common spaces clean and organized.
  • Report incidents, concerns, or maintenance issues to supervisors.
  • Assist with resident move-ins and move-outs as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
  • Experience working in a residential, shelter, or social services setting is a plus.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift items, climb stairs, and stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Reliable, professional, and able to work with diverse populations.
