Description
We are working with a manufacturing company who is looking for a purchasing coordinator with hands on experience to join their busy team.
Responsibilities:
- Create, process, and maintain purchase orders in NetSuite
- Coordinate purchasing activities from order placement through delivery
- Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, availability, lead times, and order status
- Monitor open purchase orders and follow up on outstanding deliveries
- Maintain accurate vendor, item, pricing, and purchasing information in NetSuite
- Review purchasing documentation for accuracy
- Assist with inventory and material availability tracking
- Coordinate with operations, warehouse, accounting, and other internal departments
- Research vendors and obtain pricing/availability when needed
- Resolve discrepancies involving purchase orders, invoices, quantities, or deliveries
- Maintain organized purchasing records and documentation
- Assist the purchasing team with reporting and other administrative responsibilities
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of purchasing/procurement experience
- Hands-on NetSuite experience — required
