In this role, you will serve as a vital link between clients, attorneys, and external parties. You will be responsible for keeping case management files meticulous, handling critical medical records, and drafting essential legal documents. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses strong organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Case Management: Maintain and update comprehensive case files, including contact information, medical history, case status, and detailed phone logs.
  • Document Preparation: Draft and prepare correspondence, standard forms, pleadings, motions, and discovery documents (such as Interrogatory Answers), and handle e-filing with the courts.
  • Records Coordination: Order and review medical records, billing statements, and Medicare/Medicaid lien reports, following up diligently as needed.
  • Expert Scheduling: Coordinate permanency examinations with medical experts and compile neat, comprehensive documentation packets for their review.
  • Professional Communication: Interact effectively and professionally with clients, insurance adjusters, opposing counsel, and court personnel.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven experience as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant (experience in Personal Injury, Workers' Compensation, or Medical Malpractice is highly preferred).
  • Strong familiarity with legal document preparation, discovery processes, and court e-filing systems.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a sharp eye for detail and data accuracy.
  • Compassionate yet professional communication style when dealing with clients under stress.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple administrative deadlines seamlessly.

Benefits:
We offer eligible employees competitive pay and access to a range of benefits and support programs based on assignment type, schedule, length of employment, and eligibility requirements, including medical, dental, vision, prescription coverage, short-term disability, 401(k), employee assistance, childcare assistance, discounts, paid holidays, and longevity bonuses. Depending on the benefit, cost may be paid by the Company, the employee, or shared between both.
