HVAC Assistant Project Manager
Salary: $50,000–$70,000
Location: Staten Island 10302
Type: Full-time
TemPositions is pleased to partner with a well-established HVAC and
mechanical contracting firm serving commercial and residential clients
across NYC. We are seeking an HVAC Assistant Project Manager to
support project teams and ensure projects run smoothly from planning
through closeout.
What You’ll Do:
Manage RFIs, submittals, drawings, and project documentation
Track purchase orders, change orders, and project costs
Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field teams
Attend project meetings and take detailed notes
Assist with scheduling, estimating, buyouts, and closeouts
What We’re Looking For:
Construction or HVAC project coordination experience
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to read blueprints and specifications
Experience with Excel, Outlook, and project software
Interest in growing into a Project Manager role
- Must be able to commute to Staten Island
- Field vs. office time depends on experience and job progress
- SST card required to access jobsites
