Director of Social Services
Position Overview
The Director of Social Services oversees all social services and case management operations, ensuring high-quality, compliant service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
-Manage and oversee all social service and case management functions
-Ensure compliance with DHS/OTDA contracts, policies, and reporting requirements
-Supervise and support LMSW/MSW staff; provide training and professional development
-Monitor quality assurance, chart reviews, and DHS CARES documentation
-Demonstrated sensitivity and experience with and/or knowledge of homelessness within disenfranchised communities including individuals who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and/or HIV-affected, the elderly and individuals with substance abuse and/or mental health issues.
-Maintain relationships with funders and external stakeholders
-Prepare and submit accurate, timely reports
-Represent the program and assume Program Director duties as needed
Qualifications
-Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) required
-Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in homeless services
-Knowledge of DHS/OTDA regulations and CARES reporting
-Strong leadership, communication, and documentation skills
-Experience working with diverse and underserved populations
-Bilingual (Mandarin or Spanish) preferred
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office
