Are you passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of others? We are seeking dedicated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our team. Under the supervision of the Residence Manager, you will provide essential direct services to individuals with developmental disabilities.

Your mission will be to foster a safe, normalized, and therapeutic home environment built on encouragement, positive interaction, and unconditional respect for resident rights.

Key Responsibilities

  • As a DSP, you will support our residents' daily lives, independence, and personal growth through the following duties:
  • Individualized Care & Support: Assist residents with daily personal tasks, including bathing, dressing, and teaching vital self-care skills.
  • Behavioral & Social Growth: Implement behavioral plans and actively encourage resident engagement within their communities and social networks.
  • Daily Operations & Homemaking: Maintain a clean, welcoming home environment by handling housekeeping tasks (vacuuming, dishes, tidying) and grocery shopping.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals tailored to specific client dietary needs.
  • Logistics & Scheduling: Help plan client appointments, organize schedules, and coordinate transportation arrangements.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Accurately document daily notes and service provisions while adhering to the organization’s Code of Ethics, mission, vision, and values.

Job Qualifications

  • To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
  • Must be past their initial employment probationary period.
  • Must have a clean record with no disciplinary actions on file for the past 12 months.
  • Shifts: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, bend, and lift daily.
  • Must be able to stand for at least 8 hours at a time.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
