Accounts Receivable Specialist B2B
Location: Midtown, NYC
Salary: $26-$28 per hour
Schedule: Hybrid, 3 days on site
Status: Temporary (with potential for permanent hire)
We’re partnering with a great client on a hybrid opportunity in Midtown Manhattan for an experienced Accounts Receivable professional.

Description:
- Contact client and create correspondence for past-due accounts and collections.
- Prepares, posts, verifies, and records customer payments and all transactions related to accounts receivable.
- Manage and updates customer files.
- Contact clients regarding delinquent accounts by reviewing files, and contacts delinquent accountholders to request payment.
- Creates daily sales outstanding reports regarding the status of customer accounts as requested by the executive team.
- Research customer discrepancies and past-due amounts.
- Reconcile accounts receivable on a monthly basis.
- Copies, files, and retrieves materials for accounts receivable as needed.
- Relays changes of information to appropriate employees.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
- Confidence handling account clean-up
- Experience communicating with internal managers and external clients via email and phone
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Solid Microsoft Office Suite, Excel skills
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with customers
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong B2B collections/AR experience
