Description

We are seeking a Compounding Pharmacist to support daily pharmacy operations with a strong focus on non-sterile and/or sterile compounding in Phoenix, AZ. This role combines clinical oversight, prescription verification, and hands-on compounding in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Compound medications following established formulas and USP guidelines
  • Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness
  • Oversee compounding processes including weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and pharmacy quality standards
  • Maintain compounding records, formulations, and inventory controls
  • Counsel patients and providers on compounded medications and usage
  • Support technicians and compounding staff workflow

Qualifications

  • Active Arizona Pharmacist license in good standing
  • PharmD or BS in Pharmacy required
  • Compounding experience required (sterile and/or non-sterile)
  • Knowledge of USP , , and standards preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
