Revenue Recovery Analyst

Are you a detail-oriented problem-solver who knows how to turn complex, aging insurance claims into recovered revenue?

We’re seeking a Revenue Recovery Analyst with strong experience in aged accounts receivable, complex denials, appeals, and insurance escalations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys investigating unresolved claims, identifying missed opportunities, and determining the best path toward payment—not just making routine follow-up calls.

Responsibilities: 

• Investigate older, unresolved insurance claims that have already been worked by an offshore team but remain outstanding.
• Review detailed account histories, billing records, claim notes, and previous follow-up activity to identify errors, discrepancies, and missed steps.
• Determine the appropriate next steps to recover payment, including first- and second-level appeals, insurance complaints, and state complaints.
• Identify claims requiring additional research, corrective action, escalation, or reassignment to another team.
• Analyze complex denial situations and recommend effective resolution strategies.
• Help recover outstanding revenue by ensuring claims receive the appropriate attention and follow-through.

Qualifications:

• Experience with aged AR, complex insurance denials, appeals, and revenue recovery.
• Strong understanding of first-level and second-level appeals, insurance complaints, and state complaint processes.
• Ability to analyze account histories, recognize missed opportunities, and determine the best course of action.
• Excellent research, analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• A patient, persistent professional who enjoys digging into challenging claims and finding solutions.
