We are looking for a skilled advocate who can step in on day one to champion our clients' cases across a wide range of workplace disputes, from discrimination and harassment to wage-and-hour compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Caseload Management: Independently drive a diverse litigation portfolio focused heavily on employment matters (Title VII, ADA, FMLA, NJLAD, wage and hour, and wrongful termination).
  • Advocacy & Court Appearances: Represent clients aggressively and professionally in federal and state courts, administrative agencies, arbitrations, and mediation hearings.
  • Depositions & Discovery: Conduct and defend complex depositions; draft and execute targeted discovery plans specific to employment law intricacies.
  • Motion Practice: Conduct exhaustive legal research and author high-caliber pleadings, substantive motions, and appellate briefs.
  • Strategy & Counseling: Formulate comprehensive, creative litigation strategies and advise corporate and individual clients on compliance, risk mitigation, and proactive workplace policies.
  • Settlement Negotiation: Value claims accurately and execute skillful settlement strategies to secure optimal resolutions for clients.

Qualifications & Skills

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Bar Admission: Active, good-standing license to practice law in New Jersey.
  • Experience: 5 to 7 years of general civil litigation experience, with a heavy, demonstrable focus on state and federal employment law.
  • Litigation Mastery: Proven track record of handling depositions, oral arguments, and trial preparation independently.
  • The Hybrid Workflow: Exceptional organizational skills, strict attention to detail, and the self-motivation required to manage a caseload effectively across both office and home environments.

Preferred:

Dual admission/active license to practice law in New York is a significant plus.

We offer eligible employees competitive pay and access to a range of benefits and support programs based on assignment type, schedule, length of employment, and eligibility requirements, including medical, dental, vision, prescription coverage, short-term disability, 401(k), employee assistance, childcare assistance, discounts, paid holidays, and longevity bonuses. Depending on the benefit, cost may be paid by the Company, the employee, or shared between both.
