Description
We are currently hiring for one of our clients who specialize in substance use recovery, mental health, and wellness services.
This position is responsible for providing flexible, consumer-oriented therapy to assist patients in achieving self-sufficiency and positive treatment outcomes. You will work onsite to combine substance use and recovery counseling with a practical, problem-solving approach, utilizing trauma-informed care and evidence-based practices to create a dynamic path for client change and problem resolution.
Requirements & Responsibilities:
- Credentials & Education: CASAC credential required with a minimum of two (2) years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A Bachelor’s Degree with 1 year of experience is preferred.
- Clinical Approach: Strong knowledge of modern therapeutic methods, theories, and practices, including motivational interviewing, harm reduction, emotional regulation, and trauma-informed care.
- Schedule & Hours: Full-time (35 hours/week), Monday through Friday from 6:15 AM to 1:45 PM, with a rotating Saturday shift required.
- Caseload Management: Maintain an active caseload, providing both individual and group treatment to help patients identify strengths, goals, and solutions related to substance use, recovery, and mental illness.
- Treatment Planning: Collaborate directly with patients to assess needs and develop comprehensive treatment plans, updating goals, objectives, and interventions on a monthly basis.
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Prepare for and active participate in weekly interdisciplinary team meetings and clinical supervision sessions.
- Documentation & Compliance: Complete all required clinical paperwork and record keeping in a timely manner using an electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Professional Ethics: Maintain the highest standards of professional ethics, strict client confidentiality, and compliance with all agency policies and procedures
