NEW YORK, January 4, 2016 – The TemPositions Group of Companies, one of the country’s oldest and largest regional staffing firms has acquired certain assets of 28-year-old Long Island based Opus Staffing and Opus Scientific. Opus Staffing specializes in direct hire, temporary and temp-to-hire placement of administrative, HR, accounting and finance, marketing and creative professionals. Opus Scientific places laboratory technicians, research associates, documentation specialists, biostatisticians and other professionals in the life sciences, biotech, and related scientific-intensive fields.
The administrative support and non-scientific temporary staffing business and direct hire services will be operated under the name Opus Staffing; and the Scientific market will be serviced under the name Opus Scientific. All operations will be relocated to TemPositions’ Melville NY offices located at 20 Broad Hollow Road. Phone numbers will remain the same.
