Compensation:
- Staff Accountant: Up to $65,000
- Accounting Manager: Up to $85,000
Are you looking for a fully remote accounting opportunity where you'll gain exposure to a variety of industries and clients? We are seeking both Staff Accountants and Accounting Managers to join a growing team that provides outsourced accounting services to multiple businesses.
This is an excellent opportunity for accounting professionals with strong accrual accounting experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and post journal entries using accrual accounting principles.
- Maintain general ledgers and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
- Prepare accurate monthly financial statements for multiple client accounts.
- Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Analyze financial data and identify discrepancies.
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting as needed.
- Communicate professionally with clients to gather information and answer accounting-related questions.
- Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with accounting standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Public accounting, CPA firm, or outsourced bookkeeping/accounting services experience strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of accrual basis accounting.
- Experience managing multiple client accounts and competing deadlines.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and/or other accounting software.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
