**Social services support Needed**
Responsibilities
Will provide and oversee on-site trauma-informed social service delivery at city sanctuary hotels throughout New York City. Working cooperatively with hotel operations and security staff. Will welcome and engage migrant and asylum-seeking single adults, families with children, or adult families. Assist with managing daily social service operations and provide on the ground support. Shift Supervisors, Community associates and Resident Advisors work together to complete culturally sensitive assessments and making referrals.
Requirements
Experience in social services field
Strong understanding of trauma and how it manifests, as well as experience delivering trauma-informed, culturally sensitive services
Strong organizational and leadership skills
Ability to work independently
Bi-lingual in Spanish - Required
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree or two years of relevant social services experience with people who are vulnerable and have experienced significant trauma
