Service Coordinator for a fire protection and life safety services company. Position entails the coordination and scheduling of repairs for multi-location national accounts including retail, medical facilities and national financial institutions. Services provided include maintenance, installation and repairs for fire sprinkler, fire alarm, back flow, fire extinguishers & emergency lights.
Job responsibilities include: Coordinate and schedule fire protection repairs from our national clients with sub-contractors throughout the United States This includes: scheduling, tracking, and communicating with both the sub and the customer Manage job progress, typing estimates, locating and hiring new contractors when necessary Both written and verbal business to business correspondence While this is not a sales position, negotiating rates with suppliers is required
Qualifications/Prime candidates will have: Experience in one of the following areas: Customer Service (Business to Business) and/or dispatching experience in Fire Sprinkler, Fire Extinguisher, HVAC, Fire Alarm security or have worked for a service company. Strong written and verbal communication skills Data Entry Skills Ability to work in a fast paced environment Problem solving Multitasking ability Detail orientated and organized Experience in MS office, Word, Excel & Outlook
