A Real Estate, Start-Up that has recently went public, is seeking a motivated candidate that possesses the foundational accounting skills to be successful in the role, as well as the desire for an expanding scope of responsibilities. This person would be immersed in many facets of our business and will work directly with senior management.
Vendor management and accounts payable coordination, including serving as primary touch point for various managers throughout the company
Responsible for tenant rental billings and reimbursements.
Preparing general ledger entries and analyses as part of a monthly close cycle
Performing or reviewing monthly bank reconciliations for various operating accounts
Provide support with cash management and tax projections
Assisting with preparation of annual, quarterly and monthly financial statements, schedules and interfacing with auditors, consultants and tax preparers.
Taking on ad hoc projects that may involve large data sets
Bachelors degree in Accounting,
Minimum three years accounting experience. Real estate experience is a plus.
Track record of managing high volume workflows and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Excel
Strong desire to learn and take on responsibility quickly
