Job Title: Senior Software Engineer
Location: [REMOTE] – But Preferably local to the Dallas Fort Worth Metro Area
Compensation: 115k- 140k + Equity/Stock

Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications using MongoDB, Java, and Node.js.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Software Engineer with strong proficiency in MongoDB, Java, and Node.js.
- Solid understanding of software development principles and methodologies.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in accounting or familiarity with accounting/finance principles.
- Experience with C# and connecting with legacy desktop applications such as QuickBooks Desktop, Lacerte, CCH Axcess, or Go Systems.
Bonus Skills:
- Knowledge of additional programming languages and frameworks.
- Experience with cloud services and infrastructure.
- Familiarity with Agile development practices.
