Responsibilities Include:
• Assist with the month-end and year-end closings
• Analyze The P&L and prepare the monthly reporting package
• Assist with year-end audit by investigating and resolving audit findings
• Prepare journal entries
• Prepare and reconcile monthly bank reconciliations
• Assist in analyzing inventory variances and provide other trend analyses
• Review daily bank activity and provide flash cash analysis
• Provide analysis of freight costs and provide detailed analysis
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports for management
• Prepare and file multi-state sales and use tax returns
• Provide ad hoc reporting for the senior executive team as needed
Qualifications Include:
• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting along with 5+ years of relevant experience
• Experience in wholesale, distribution, or manufacturing strongly preferred
• GAAP Accounting experience
• Strong organization, communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong ERP and MS Excel experience a plus
