Full service investment firm is looking for a sales assistant to join their growing team. The sales assistant will provide account and administrative/clerical support to the investment broker and their clients.
Client interaction: answering and directing phone calls, taking messages. Assisting clients with basic account maintenance tasks like changing addresses, obtaining direct deposit info, requesting and following up on documentation Order Entry: Taking orders and entering them into their banking/clearing house system. Requires someone to be highly detail oriented as they are working with large sums of money for their orders Assisting the compliance office in retrieving documentation for audit preparation Providing administrative and clerical support to the senior sales assistant as needed Drafting letters and other correspondences for the sales team
At least two years providing administrative support in an office setting. Strong phone presence when speaking with clients Outgoing personality Ability to adapt and communicate with different levels of staff in the company from broker level up to the owners Detail orientation Basic working knowledge of word, excel and outlook for emailing Data Entry skills Willingness to learn Highly organized
