Procurement and Payables Manager and Assistants
Looking for Procurement Managers and Procurement Assistants to work on an auditing, procurement, and budgeting project.
Duties:
- Determine if invoices are eligible for payment by matching it against the budgeted expense
- Perform audit to make sure the bill is appropriate against the budget and the contract norms and then get it into the system for payment
- Review over 200 contracts with their own specified budgets, and understand the standard rates for specific services
- Ensure that when requests for payment comes in, that the invoice has the correct rates
- Make sure there isn't any over spending in any categories
- Inform vendors to revise budgets as needed
- Approve expenses, and put them through the system to send the payment request to the comptroller
Requirements:
- Previous experience in procurement, accounts payables, and auditing is required
- Previous government, non-profit, or social service experience is required
- Analytical skills
- Must be detail-oriented
