Assistant Recruiter

We are seeking a personal representative to join our mid-town staffing firm team. The person hired for this role may be responsible for calling, scheduling, interviewing, and/or onboarding and auditing applicant credentials. Fast-paced, dynamic and with opportunities for growth. NYC Midtown office location. Salary will be commensurate with experience. $21-$22/hour expected.
Responsibilities:
- Identifying, evaluating, and placing talent by exercising good decision-making skills. Responsible for the recruitment of candidates, including sourcing resumes, scheduling interviews, and interviewing.
- Use excellent attention-to-detail to accurately and efficiently audit submitted credentials and follow up with onboarding applicants.
- Use judgment to match and place qualified candidates to job orders, follow up regarding assignment changes, cancellations, etc.
Skills:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and answer a high volume of calls and emails.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines while budgeting time and managing daily priorities.
- Bachelor's Degree
- Previous experience in public relations, talent management, recruitment and/or sales is a plus.
