We are looking for a strong Bil-lingual (Spanish/English) Customer Service Associate for a on-going temporary part-time position in downtown Los Angeles near Union Station.
Exact days of week to be determined. 8:30am - 5:00pm with 30 minute lunch.
3 days a week and on-call as needed should someone call out sick, be away on vacation, etc.
Promote transportation services
Answer basic questions to customers about our service (Q&A available on our website, for reference)
Rebook customers using our proprietary ticketing system (desktop PC)
Associate will be able to accept cc/debit card payments for purposes of "Manage my Booking" requests (pax may have a fare difference due.)
No Cash transactions
Direct customers to our Customer Service hotline for all other inquiries (24/7 availability)
Provide real-time information on departure & arrival times (schedule and live tracking available through our company app and on display in waiting room)
Direct our customers to the customer waiting area on the lot
Help organize passengers by bus/destination
Ability to de-escalate upset customers (ex: missed their bus) in a calm and professional way and find solutions
Communicate regularly with Traffic Control via phone & Microsoft Teams on station irregularities
Very light housekeeping (maintaining clean counters, arranging chairs, etc.)
Customer service experience needed, operations background also a plus
Friendly, helpful demeanour
Fluent English/Spanish a must, additional languages a plus
