Pantry Attendant

TemPositions Eden Hospitality is a temporary staffing firm that provides year-round work in Corporate & University Dining and Catering Operations.  We are currently seeking reliable, professional Pantry Attendants to work the morning shift for one of our corporate clients at various locations in NYC.  Assignments are long-term with normal shifts being 5 hours and ranging from 5am to 7am call times and would be Monday to Friday.  Candidates must have a great work ethic, professional presentation and excellent communication skills.  Candidates must be able to work independently with little supervision.   Since we are constantly growing, we have a wide range of clients with various needs including conference services, banquet, a la carte, and barista.  Our client base provides qualified candidates with growth opportunities for both weekly and LONG-TERM assignments. Responsibilities:

·       Comfortable in completing tasks that you may be asked to complete during your shift such 

       as:

Ø  Receiving orders and storing food and supplies

Ø  Setting up pantries with food & sundries, making drip coffee

Ø  Taking inventory

Ø  Cleaning counters

Ø  Replenishing stock

Ø  Maintaining sanitation of kiosk/ work area including sweeping mopping, emptying  

    garbage, etc.…

·       Ability to stand for long periods of time

·       Must be able to multitask and be flexible in job duties

·       Work well within a team or alone

·       Previous Barista experience is preferred but not required

Skills:

·       At least 1 year of related experience in food service

·       2 work references

·       Black DRESS pants (not jeans, leggings, sweats, etc.…)

·       Plain black belt

·       Plain black dress shirt that can be tucked in

·       Black socks

·       Black non-slip shoes that can be shined (not sneakers or any shoes that resemble

        sneakers)
