Medical Procurement Specialist

Medical Procurement Specialist needed for a busy facility located in Suffolk County, New York.

Ideal individual must demonstrate a willingness to work with several departments and work independently. 

1.  Triage, source, negotiate and procure commodities and services in accordance with SBF policy and procedures.

2.  Resolve complex problems related to purchase orders (i.e following up on various issues like damaged items; cancellations, missing or  items not received).
3.  Expedite orders when necessary, resolve issues (i.e. backorders, damaged goods, etc) arrange returns as needed

Skills Needed:

1.  2 years of Buying/Purchasing experience

2.  MS Word

3.  Detail Oriented
