Description
Men, Women and Family Shelters throughout New York City are seeking dedicated, and dependable team players to join their Maintenance team. Interested candidates must have a minimum of at least 1-2 years previous maintenance/custodial or janitorial experience, preferably in a shelter environment. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays is needed.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Sweeping and mopping the floors
- Changing lightbulbs
- Vacuuming the carpet
- Lite Painting
- Moving furniture
- Trash disposal
- Cleaning apartments
- Minor repairs
- other duties as assigned
Work Schedule: 8am-4pm or 12pm-8pm. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
