Our Client a manufacturing company based in Farmingdale NY is seeking an HR Generalist to join its team. The company is very stable, profitable and offers an excellent benefits package. This is an excellent opportunity to find a company that you can call a home.
The responsibilities include:
- Manage the complete Human Resources function for the company.
- Work closely with department managers and assisting them in recruiting
- Create policies and procedures that will enable employees to work at an optimal level while in compliance with all local, state, and federal requirements.
- Maintain compliance for all reequipments.
- Coordinate all internal benefits working with all outside parties to insure that employees within the company are knowledgeable and participate in the benefits programs.
- Act as key point person during open enrollment and assist employees with any issues
- Review all payroll reports. Including PTO, sick time, and timecard issues.
- Onboard employees and partner with Managers to ensure a smooth transition.
- Manage Workers Comp, FLMA, and Short-Term Disability programs
- Create a safety-first environment keeping employees up to date on the latest requirements.
- Comfortable presenting all data to all levels of associates, peers, and the management team.
- Provide employees with timely coaching, counseling, and feedback.
