Food Service Supervisor
Description
Well known NYC hospital is seeking an experienced, reliable and hard-working Supervisor to join their team. Interested candidates should have a minimum of 2-3 years supervisory experience in the Food Service industry. Flexibility to work weekdays, evenings, weekends and holidays is a must. Either Servsafe or NYC DOH Food Protection Certificate required, it should be current within the last 5 years.
Responsibilities:
Under General Supervision of the Patient Services Manager, the Food Service Supervisor will assist, supervise, monitor and perform various activities throughout the food service operation. Monitor and check the sanitation and general activities of the Food Service Department. Supervise safe food handling and preparation. Assist with hiring and terminations. Create and maintain the daily work schedule. Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills:
Minimum of 2-3 years Supervisory experience in the Food Service industry High School Diploma or Equivalent Current Servsafe or NYC DOH Food Protection Certificate required Certified Dietary Manager Program preferred but not required Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
