Event Staff/ Hostess/Wait Staff/Hospitality

TemPositions Hospitality is a temporary service that provides year-round work in Corporate & University Dining and Catering Operations. We are  building our talent pool to match the  various needs of our clients. This is a great way to make extra money in a fun environment. We look for individuals with a great work ethic, professional presentation, and great communication skills. We are looking to hire waitstaff, servers, hostess, and custodial/ utility staff such as dishwashers etc.

Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Report to all assignments on time and in uniform
• Maintain a professional appearance

• Set up and breakdown of events
• Working assignments that will include conference services, receptions, buffets, banquets, and outdoor events
• Communicate effectively with clients, guests, and co-workers

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Custodial

· Pot Washing

· Dishwashing Operations

· Floor cleaning

· Running or hot food and dirty pans back to the kitchen

· Waste disposal

· Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming

· Setting up and replenishing ice and beverages in their designated areas

· Keeping areas clean while guests are present

· Team Player

• Have a high level of professionalism when dealing with clients, guests, and coworkers
• Required:
• 1+ years of related experience
• 2 former work references
• California Food Handler Certificate
• For certain roles: Black bistro uniform (black slacks, black socks, black non-slip dress shoes, black collared long-sleeved button-up shirt and long plain black tie.
