Description
Our client a large international company is seeking an Entry Level Accountant, who's focus will be Accounts Payable. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in accounting. The company offers a strong corporate structure and an opportunity to grow and gain valuable experience working in a large accounting department. The Responsibilities include:
- Data entry and processing of accounts payable transactions (Purchase Order and Non-Purchase Order)
- Monitor inbox to service vendors and internal customers and inquiries
- Assist with Vendor setup process
- Monitoring manual mail for scanning
- Respond to payment inquiries
- Handle the processing of time-sensitive invoices.
- Reconcile/research AP vendor statements and provide detailed responses to internal and external business users.
- Assists as needed with special projects
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree
- Accuracy & Attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to prioritize and manage high volume and multi-task
- Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
- Someone whom Takes initiative
- Deals with confidential information and/or issues using discretion
- Ability to be in the office 3 days per week.
