Divisional Controller

This job is presented to you by TGC Search, a division of the TemPositions Group of Companies. We are currently recruiting for a Divisional Controller that is hands-on, analytical and detail orientated.
The Divisional Controller will be responsible for two locations and will prepare the month end close process, cost accounting, and daily, weekly and monthly flash, sales and financial reports/statements. The Divisional Controller will partner closely with plant operations to investigate and report on root cause of variances.
Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities (general accounting and cost accounting)
Prepare the month end close (while coordinating with corporate accounting leadership) and ensuring SOX for corporate review.
Work with the Plant Leadership team to create the annual budget and monthly forecasts for plant costs and capital expenditures.
Lead the coordination of the fixed assets, physical inventory counts, review materials cost review, overhead analysis, gross profit analysis and ensuring GAAP.
Skills:
Key Requirements
Completed University degree in Accounting
10 years of previous experience in a Controller role
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
Advanced MS Excel skills including Pivots, Formulas and Functions
Prior experience with Navision is a plus
