We are looking for an energetic and responsible Culinary Service Specialist for a fast-paced startup located here in San Francisco! The position is customer facing and required the candidate to be knowledgeable about food, safety and sanitation and FIFO. Someone who has the ability to work autonomously, has excellent time management and can make a "mundane task" the highlight of their day.
-Helping put out 3 meals a day; breakfast, lunch, and dinner for customers
-Ensuring that everything is stocked according to FIFO principles
-Putting out food in the right line to minimize the risk of cross-contamination
-Keeping area tidy
-Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
-Understand allergens and that precaution that goes into ensuring there is no cross-contamination
-Have a solid understanding of food and food handling
-Great communication and people skills, this is a very customer service driven position and the candidate must know how to effectively communicate with staff and consumers
-Have a knack for accuracy: ingredients clearly listed, everything filled accordingly, etc..
