Job Title: Corporate Associate Attorney
Location: On- Site
Job Type: Full-time
Compensation: $140,000 – $170,000 per year (commensurate with experience)
Overview:
A premier Long Island law firm is seeking a Corporate Associate Attorney with 3–5 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, financings, private placements, SEC compliance, and general corporate practice. This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected Corporate & Securities practice group known for its collaborative approach and commitment to client success.
Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt financings, and private placement transactions.
- Provide counsel on SEC regulations and general corporate governance.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of corporate and transactional documents.
- Support clients with business formation, compliance, and ongoing corporate needs.
- Work collaboratively across practice groups and with firm partners to address client goals.
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Admission to the New York State Bar.
- 3–5 years of relevant corporate and securities law experience.
- Strong academic credentials, with preference given to candidates with superior class rank, Law Review, and/or Moot Court experience.
- Excellent legal research, writing, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex matters and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
