Description

Interested candidates must be passionate, organized, and self-motivated. Candidates must also have a strong desire to learn and grow in addition to strong communication skills. As a Cook, you would be responsible for preparing food items in accordance with recipes and established standards in our continuing effort to deliver outstanding service. Prepare food items according to designated recipes and quality standards Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards at all times Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local and company regulations

Responsibilities:

Good communication skills both written and verbal. Satisfactorily communicate with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding. Endure various physical movements throughout the work areas. Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8-hours in length. Exert physical effort in lifting/transporting at least 50 pounds. Push/pull carts and equipment up to 150 pounds. Job involves working under variable temperature conditions and noise levels. Culinary degree is preferred but not required

Skills:

Prepare requisitions for supplies and food items, as needed Ensure knowledge of menu and all food products Possess sufficient dexterity to use all kitchen equipment The ability to work with cutlery in a proficient, safe and swift manner Manage guest orders in a friendly, timely and efficient manner Visually inspect all food sent from the kitchen Stock and maintain designated food station(s)
