Description
We are currently seeking convention staff for a large convention which runs from December 1-4 at the Long Beach Convention Center. You must have open availability during these dates. These are contract positions. We are looking to hire greeters, directionals, room monitors, registration attendants, and supervisors.
This is a terrific opportunity to earn additional income. Candidates must be professional, energetic, friendly, flexible, personable, outgoing, and proactive, with a "team-player" attitude. Some positions require computer skills. Most positions require prolonged periods of standing.
Business attire such as white collared, long-sleeve, button up dress shirt*, black slacks or skirt (no jeans), black socks or stockings, black belt (if applicable), black dress shoes (no tennis shoes), black jacket or blazer.
High School diploma or GED.
Excellent communication skills
Strong customer service
Able to stand for extended periods of time
Two or more years of experience working as a convention supervisor, managing multiple roles and employees
Pay: $21 - $25/hour
