We are seeking empathetic and dependable Care Aides to provide hands-on support to clients in residential or motel-based settings. This is a great opportunity for individuals with lived experience in social services or health systems who want to make a meaningful impact in their community. This is an on-going opportunity with the potential to become temp to hire.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct daily temperature checks and health assessments.
Provide basic first aid and monitor overall client wellness.
Engage in motivational interviewing to support client recovery goals.
Help clients transition to permanent housing and navigate available resources.
Maintain accurate daily logs and documentation in line with HIPAA standards.
Support walk-in clients and assist with general program navigation.
Perform clerical tasks including data entry and scheduling.
Ensure a clean and safe environment within program facilities.
Qualifications:
Lived experience in social services or healthcare navigation is strongly valued.
CNA certification preferred but not required; no changing or medical assistance tasks are required.
Strong communication, organization, and emotional support skills.
Familiarity with residential or motel-based service settings is a plus.
This is an on-site position based in either Monterey or Contra Costa County.
