Overview: We are seeking an experienced Non Profit Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial concepts, tax regulations, and accounting background. Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable transactions accurately and timely
- Verify coding, obtain approvals, and ensure proper documentation
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Experience:
- Proven experience in accounts payable, general ledger accounting, and data entry
- Familiarity with accounting software
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and best practices
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
